Loop Drive is a loop with more of a focus on speed. All loops have a lot of spin, but emphasizing the speed more will make a shot that is harder to return when the opponent is out of position. When you need a faster shot, open the racket angle more to gain the edge in speed, though at the cost of some spin.
The loop drive has a flatter arc due to the reduced topspin on it.
Loop drives should be hit at the top of the bounce, not while the ball is dropping.
